Terms of Service
Last updated 9 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Decidi. They are written to be read, not skimmed past — the section on what Decidi is and is not is the most important one, so please read it.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using Decidi (the “service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Decidi on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.
What Decidi is
Decidi is an AI decision-support tool. You start in chat, free. From there you can escalate: put the question to a named specialist mind, to a small panel, or to a full Multi-Agent run in which rival frontier models debate it across rounds and an independent Final QA pass audits the result into a single verdict. On Pro, a team of minds can divide the work and produce the finished deliverable. Every message, contribution and verdict is machine-generated.
Important — this is not professional advice
Decidi is a decision-support tool. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, tax or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your specific situation. AI outputs can be confidently wrong, incomplete or out of date — including when several models agree. You are solely responsible for any decision you make and any action you take. For decisions with legal, financial, health or safety consequences, consult an appropriately qualified professional before acting.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Decidi. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Plans, runs and credits
Decidi is sold as a plan. Chat is free — as a guest, and on a free account — and a free account also includes one specialist consultation. Plus and Pro open the specialist minds, panels and the full Multi-Agent Team, and Pro adds working teams and Deep depth; each plan carries a stated number of full Multi-Agent runs a month. Underneath, credits meter what each run actually costs. Credits are a unit of access to model usage — they are not money, carry no cash value, and are non-transferable. A longer or deeper run draws more of them than a short one.
- You see an estimate of the credit cost before you run a debate.
- Credits are debited from your balance based on the real token usage of the models that contributed.
- If a model call fails, that failed call is not charged — any credits already reserved for it are refunded to your balance.
- Free starter credits may be granted at our discretion and are subject to the same rules.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Decidi to:
- Break the law, or generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, or that exploits or endangers others.
- Infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Harass, abuse, defame or threaten any person.
- Attempt to access, extract or interfere with other users’ data, our systems, or the underlying model providers.
- Probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the service, its rate limits or its security.
- Resell or redistribute the service in a way that misrepresents AI output as human or professional advice.
Intellectual property
You own the inputs you submit and the outputs generated for you. As between you and Decidi, the debates and verdicts produced from your briefs are yours to use. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs and store your outputs only as needed to operate the service for you.
We own the Decidi platform — the software, design, brand, persona library and the way the council is orchestrated. These terms grant you a licence to use the service, not any ownership of it.
Third-party model providers
Decidi’s debates are powered by third-party AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI, accessed through the FastRouter gateway. Your use of those outputs is also subject to the providers’ usage policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the content those models generate, and availability of any particular model is not guaranteed.
Payment and billing
Plans and top-up packs are purchased through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for Decidi. Lemon Squeezy is the seller shown on your receipt, handles your card details directly, and calculates, collects and remits any sales tax or VAT due in your country — so the tax, where it applies, is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Charges are made in US dollars (USD) at the price displayed. If your card is not denominated in dollars, your own bank or card issuer applies its currency-conversion rate and any cross-border fee, which we do not control. A business invoice, with your company name and VAT/tax number, is available from your billing history.
Except where required by law, a purchase is non-refundable once the runs it buys — or a top-up — are added to your balance. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with a statutory right of withdrawal (for example, the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off right on digital purchases), that right applies until you begin using what you bought; by spending any of it you request immediate supply and acknowledge the right is then exhausted. This clause does not limit the two automatic refunds described in these terms: a run that fails part-way is never charged — every credit it reserved is returned to your balance (see Plans, runs and credits above) — and our fair-billing guarantee automatically refunds a result that genuinely fails our Final QA quality bar. Both apply in addition to your legal rights. The same policy is set out for a reader at decidi.ai/refund. To raise a billing query, email support@decidi.ai.
Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Decidi is sold as a monthly plan. Plus ($19 a month) opens uncapped chat, the specialist minds, panels and the full Multi-Agent Team, and includes 16 full Multi-Agent runs a month. Pro ($49 a month) adds working teams and Deep depth, and includes 44 full runs a month. One-off top-up packs sit alongside a plan for a month that runs long — they are not the way to buy Decidi. When you subscribe, you agree that the plan renews automaticallyeach month until you cancel: your payment method is charged the then-current plan price at the start of every billing period, and that period’s allowance — the plan’s stated full Multi-Agent runs, and the credits that meter them — is added to your balance. The price and the number of runs you receive are shown before you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time from your account — cancelling stops all future renewals and charges.
- When you cancel, you keep whatever is already in your balance — the runs left in the period you have paid for, and any top-up credits — and you can resubscribe whenever you like.
- Because each period’s allowance is delivered up front, a cancellation applies to the next renewal — we do not pro-rate or refund the current period (the refund and statutory rights above still apply).
- If we change a plan’s price, we will give you reasonable notice before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel beforehand if you prefer.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that any output is correct, complete or suitable for your purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Decidi and 8T20 Capital are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from decisions you make in reliance on the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
You may stop using Decidi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or where required to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, liability and governing law — will continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts for any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Decidi after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions about these terms? Email legal@decidi.ai.
